Cansler Dental Uses The Latest Dental Technology
We want our dental patients to experience the finest in modern dentistry so our practice incorporates cutting-edge technology that delivers superior results for both diagnostics and treatment. The tools and procedures we use everyday are designed to be the most effective available -- while offering patients the advantages of safety, comfort and optimal health.
intraoral digital camera
Intraoral Digital Camera
The intraoral camera we employ has a small video camera on the tip of a sterilized probe that's inserted inside the mouth. We use it to capture and share with you detailed images of your teeth and gums.

By seeing what the dentist sees, patients have a much clearer understanding of their dental health and the condition of their teeth, and are able to appreciate the dentist's suggested treatment plans.

soft tissue laser
Lares® Soft Tissue Laser
The current generation of lasers today represent a great benefit for our dental patients. Yesterday's standard dental tools cannot even begin to approach the level of accuracy and efficacy of laser dentistry.

We use the soft-tissue laser by Lares® since it affords predictable results, less damage to tissues and faster healing times. Often we can remove dental disease without the need for anesthesia injections.

Prexion CT Scan Machine
PreXion® CT Scan Machine
Dr. Cansler is one of Georgia's leading dentists who are using PreXion "Cone-Beam" 3-D image scanning technology. With radically evolved rendering technology, PreXion 3D is a highly-advanced X-ray system.

PreXion's computed tomography engineering and precision measuring abilities enable us to accurately reconstruct a patient's anatomy three dimensionally -- in order to plan implant and orthodontic placements.

Fully Digital Office (no paper charts)
Cansler Dental is an innovative digital practice. Our dental diagnosis, image storage, patient records, health history, insurance coverage, appointments and even treatment follow-up are managed with the speed, efficiency and convenience of high-tech, computerized sophistication.
Flat Screen Monitors
Our patients enjoy the added luxury of wall-mounted, flat-screen monitors in the operatory so they can watch while we work. We find this additional benefit not only helps the patient relax and pass the time during their appointment, it also serves to inform them about a procedure.
Sterilization Monitoring
Patients can be confident that our practice follows strict sterilization guidelines. For your ultimate protection against any bio-hazards, we also employ a third-party monitoring service to further ensure our sterilizing machines are functioning properly and in top working order.
Digital X-rays
To safeguard our patients from possible harmful radiation of traditional x-ray machines, our practice uses digital x-rays for patient exams. Safer and more effective, digital x-rays produce only 20-30% the ordinary dose of older x-ray technology. A digital x-ray also provides an instant computer monitor image - and we can find tiny problems before they become worse.
Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas)
Because of its effectiveness in sedation, Nitrous Oxide has been used in dentistry since the year 1844. We administer the gas with a mask placed over the patient's nose. Nitrous acts as a mild anesthesia allowing us to painlessly perform some procedures such as gum treatment.

Ancient Dental Technology
Researchers recently discovered that dental drilling dates back to at least 9,000 years. Old world dentists in Pakistan were using innovative, albeit primitive dental tools, to treat the cavities and problems of patients long ago.
