Restoring Function & Dental Health
Being able to adequately
chew your food for proper digestion is important to your overall health and well-being. Having lost teeth restored is also instrumental to speaking well. Our dentist can restore, or repair damaged teeth as well as
cosmetically enhance their appearance.
Partial & Full Dentures
Denture appliances can
replace teeth that have been lost due to decay, or accidents. Depending upon the patient's needs, we can provide either partial, full, removable, or fixed dentures. If you're having problems with dentures slipping when you speak, we can also help
secure them firmly in place with dental implants. Dentures can improve your appearance and your confidence.
Traditional & Mini Implants
Dental implants can
effectively replace missing or lost teeth. If the patient has sufficient bone foundation, they can also provide support for loose-fitting dentures. During the procedure, titanium anchors, or implants, are placed below the gum line where they will fuse with the jawbone. The smaller diameter mini-implants
can often be placed in only a single appointment.
Bridges, Crowns & Onlays
When patients have spaces, gaps and missing teeth, we often recommend
porcelain bridges in place of natural teeth. A bridge is an artificial prosthetic that's cemented to adjacent tooth structures and adjusted for a precise, comfortable fit. When teeth have been cracked, broken, or weakened by decay or metal fillings, dentists can use dental crowns to repair damage.
Root Canal & Gum Treatment
We would prefer to
save a patient's tooth if possible; so when decay has progressed to a certain point, the last option to extraction is a root canal. This procedure involves removing the cavity, cleaning and reshaping the inner pulp of the tooth, then
filling the root canals with an inert dental material. Afterwards the tooth is sealed and its top part capped with a dental crown.
